The Principles of the Bahá’i Faith were established by Bahá’u’lláh and promulgated by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá to people from immensely diverse backgrounds during twenty nine years of His Ministry. These principles are composed of central principles and the social principles of the Baha’i Faith. The central principles are known as the “three onenesses“, which are the great focus in the teachings of the Bahá’i Faith. They are the Oneness of God, the Oneness of Religion and the Oneness of Humanity. They are also referred to as the unity of God, unity of religion, and unity of mankind.
The Bahá’i Writings including the Writings of Baha’u’llah have been translated to more than 800 languages confirming the Encyclopedia Britannica’s statement of being the second most widespread religion around the world. Many Bahá’í books are available online for reading, or downloading, through the Bahá’i Reference Library and Other Online Bahá’i Libraries which is an official online collection of Bahá’í literature in various languages.
