Included in the Bahá’í Administration is the Nineteen Day Feast which all members of their local Bahá’í community are invited to attend once every 19 days. The programme of the Nineteen Day Feast consists of three parts. The first part is devotional, which includes prayers and readings from the Holy Writings. The second part is administrative. The Spiritual Assembly through its Secretary reports on its activities and asks the Bahá’í community members of the locality to give their suggestions and offer services if they wish, for the promotion of the Bahá’í Faith or the community at large. This period of consultation is also the time for the community members to voice proposals to be sent through the Local Spiritual Assembly to the National Spiritual Assembly. The third part is social which may include singing, storytelling, socialising and refreshments.
